Available Homes Plugin

Rumspeed has developed an available homes plugin that sometimes needs to be setup and configured on a site before a client can begin using it's functionality.

Installation Instructions

1. Deactivate Elements plugin or any other homes feed plugin on the site. Do not delete, just deactivate at this time.
2. Install and activate Available Homes plugin. This can usually be done via the Backoffice—>Commands feature located on the Site Detail page for the website in Backoffice.
3. Add plugin block to Home page to pull three (3) homes. The number of homes to display can be set in the block settings (right hand column when editing the page).
4. Add plugin block to Available Homes page to pull three (3) homes below the Featured Homes section title. Set 'Featured Home' status in the block settings (right hand column when editing the page).
5. Add plugin block to Available Homes page to pull all homes below the All Homes section title.

Settings

Once the plugin is installed and setup on the appropriate pages, it is time to configure the plugin settings. Go to the plugin settings page: WP Admin—> Available Homes—> Settings

1. Theme Settings tab: Change design to 02 for now (will be 04 later but it is not ready yet)

   

2. Gravity Forms tab: Set conversion form to "Schedule a Tour"

   

3. Home List Page tab: Select "Available Homes"

   

4. Home Slug tab: keep as "home"

   

5. Reset Permalinks from the site's WP Admin
